We had a wonderful stay at this cozy hideaway in the Lake District. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the center of town and Lake Windermere. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed, from kitchen supplies to towels and bedding. The customer service representative was excellent and made sure we were taken care of. We especially loved the balcony bedroom, a unique and charming touch.

The parking was a bit tight, especially if you have a large SUV.

The location was absolutely perfect, allowing us to easily explore the beautiful Lake District. The property was compact but well-designed, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were delighted to find that the villa was dog-friendly, and it had modern facilities, including a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful, leaving us a welcome surprise of milk and a bottle of Prosecco. The entire house was spotless and the bedroom upstairs was a lovely surprise. We were thoroughly impressed with our stay at 2 The Old Coach House.

Missing dishwasher.

I had so much fun engaging in activities like golfing, fishing, and cycling! The nearest airport being Leeds Bradford International Airport made it super convenient for me.

Oh, I just loved how tight the parking was! It was such a fun challenge to squeeze my large SUV into the tiny space provided.

Some maintenance issues were reported, such as broken washer/dryer and creaking floors in the balcony bedroom.

We had a fantastic time exploring the nearby golf courses, cycling trails, and fishing spots. The location was perfect for our family to enjoy these adventures, and we made unforgettable memories in the beautiful Lake District. Highly recommended!

For dads, it would be great to have a designated play area for children.

The Old Coach House in Ambleside was a cozy haven for me during my stay. The room was spacious and comfortable, with tasteful decor that made me feel right at home. The bathroom with a bath or shower was a major plus as it allowed me to choose my preferred method of relaxation. I truly enjoyed every moment spent in this homely retreat.

The only downside for me was the bathroom with just a shower. I personally enjoy taking long, luxurious baths, so it would have been nice to have that option as well.
